The NIBA Veteran Singles heads into its final day today at Pmb Collegians Bowls.
Yesterday produced some mouth-watering contests, outstanding bowling, and several nail-biting finishes as players battled for a place in the semi-finals.
Congratulations to all the men and women who have progressed to today's semi-finals and finals. We wish you good bowling and all the best as you compete for the 2026 NIBA Veteran Singles titles.
The men's semi finals get underway at 9am, with both the men's and ladies final scheduled for 11.30am and spectators are warmly invited to come along and enjoy what promises to be a fantastic day of bowls.

Ladies Final:
An all Collegians final between Zelda Stoop Siebert and Janine Barkhuizen De Waal
The sectional play of the NIBA Veteran Singles was completed today, with three full greens of men competing at Pmb Collegians Bowls and two greens of ladies at Maritzburg Bowling Club.
Some outstanding bowls were played throughout the day, with plenty of close contests and quality bowling on display.
Congratulations to all those who have qualified for tomorrow's playoffs at PMB Collegians. Please see the playoff charts for the draw.

🏆 NIBA Open Singles Championship 2026 – Finals Day 🏆
What a spectacular conclusion to the NIBA Open Singles Championship, with Finals Day hosted at Maritzburg Bowling Club on a stunning winter’s day that provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable finish.
From the Quarter Finals through to the Semi Finals and ultimately the Finals, spectators were treated to bowls of the highest quality. Precision, composure and determination were on full display as players battled for championship honours.
The journey began with an incredible 135 players, all chasing the same dream, and after a tournament filled with passion and competition, only 4 players remained to claim the prizes.
Along the way, there were many outstanding performances and exciting new talents emerged, giving selectors plenty to smile about and offering an encouraging glimpse into the future of Natal Inland Bowls.
A huge congratulations to:
