What an EPIC competition! 🎉
Hosted and sponsored by Maritzburg West Bowling Club, the 2026 Natal Inland Vets Fours delivered some absolutely awesome bowls.
Tuesday’s sectional play produced some amazing games, plenty of excitement and a few shock results along the way! 🔥
🌸 WOMEN’S FOURS FINAL
The two unbeaten sides went head-to-head for the coveted title.
Collegians BC’s Zelda Siebert, with Wilma Halvorsen, Tracey Shead & Belinda Nobin, were made to work incredibly hard before eventually overcoming Howick’s Margie Salter, Daphne Henderson, Ann Allan & Adele Hogg.
A fantastic final between two quality sides! 👏
💙 MEN’S FOURS FINAL
The Men’s Final was an all-Howick affair after Garth Elliott and his team produced a superb win over the 2025 runners-up from Wartburg to book their place in the final.
And what a final it was!
In an absolute epic encounter, Howick’s Rusty Ikin, Jack Allan, Edwin Hohls & Garth Whitehead squeaked home 15–14 over fellow Howickians Garth Elliott, Neil Bowles, Graham Dicks & Steve Simpson! 😮💨🔥
