🏆 Lynwood Champs Do the Double! 🏆
Bradley Robinson and Tara Janse van Rensburg of Lynwood Bowling Club claimed the coveted Natal Inland Champion of Champions titles today, completing a memorable double for their club.
In two highly competitive finals, Bradley overcame the determined challenge of Keith Harcombe from Maritzburg Bowling Club, while Tara successfully held off a spirited performance from Karen Vahey of Collegians Bowling Club.
The finals brought to a close a magnificent weekend of top-class bowls, superbly hosted and sponsored by Pmb Collegians Bowls. Players and spectators alike were treated to outstanding competition and sportsmanship throughout the event.
A huge thank you to Collegians Bowling Club, its members, and all the players who volunteered their services over the weekend. Your efforts ensured another successful and memorable Natal Inland championship.
Special thanks must also go to Kyle and Gerry for their excellent live streaming coverage, and to Pete Lowe of Four Winds Project Management for sponsoring the streaming, allowing bowls enthusiasts to enjoy the action from wherever they were.

The 2026 Natal Inland Champ of Champions produced some thrilling encounters at PMB Collegians Bowling Club this afternoon.
Several of the pre-tournament favourites were given a serious test by determined opposition. While most managed to progress to the next round, the competition also produced a few notable upsets, proving once again that there are no easy games at this level.
Tomorrow morning, Pmb Collegians Bowls will host what promises to be a fantastic Finals Day, with a number of mouth-watering Semi-Final clashes scheduled to get underway at 9:00am.
The attached charts outline the remaining matches as players battle for the coveted Natal Inland Champ of Champions titles.

The Natal Inland Bowling Association Champion of Champions is being contested at Pmb Collegians Bowls club today and tomorrow.
It's a knockout tournament and kicks off at 12 noon with a Prelim game in the Men's and Women's section to get us to the last 8. The last 8 will commence at 1.30pm
The Semi Final and final will commence at 8.30am tomorrow (Sunday 2 August)

2026 KZN Singles – Finals Day
Westville Bowling Club hosted the Finals Day of the 2026 KZN Singles. A chilly start to the morning soon gave way to a stunning mid-winter's day, providing the perfect setting for some exceptional bowls.
Natal Inland Bowling Association had six players contesting the quarter-finals, with the unfortunate draw seeing Tara Janse van Rensburg and Zelda Siebert having to play each other for a place in the semi-finals. Tara prevailed to book her place in the last four.
Keith Harcombe fought tooth and nail in a thrilling quarter-final but was narrowly edged out 21–20.
Karen Vahey, Brad Robinson and Sean Lightfoot all won their quarter-final matches, keeping Natal Inland's hopes of podium finishes alive.
The semi-finals produced more outstanding bowls. Tara Janse van Rensburg's magnificent run came to an end in a heartbreaking 21–20 defeat, while Karen Vahey also narrowly missed out on a place in the final. Both ladies earned well-deserved Bronze Medals.
In the men's competition, Brad Robinson and Sean Lightfoot both won their semi-finals to set up an all-Lynwood Bowling Club final, guaranteeing Natal Inland both Gold and Silver.
Bradley Robinson produced an excellent performance to overcome a spirited Sean Lightfoot in the final and claim the 2026 KZN Men's Singles Championship, with Sean finishing as runner-up.
The Women's Singles title was won by Marian Knott of The Bell BC.
Natal Inland Bowling Association is incredibly proud of the performances of all six players who reached the Finals Day, and especially those who returned home with medals:
